Veterinary tissue bank received second UK patent.

VTB has been grant a patent by the UK patent office for its invention related to Demineralised Bone Matrix (DBM). This patent followed the earler patent granted in 2020, also related to DBM. The first patent describes the apparatus to produce DBM fibres and the second patent states the methods of making bone grafts using DBM fibre.

DBM fibre is a unique bone graft which contains growth factors capable of forming new bone when implanted in patients, used widely in both veterinary and human orthopaedics.
